Choose Seedance 2.0 when you need a polished high-resolution result or want to guide the shot with reference images, video, or audio. It is the only current 2.x option in this generator that reaches 1080p.
For quick exploration, start at 480p or 720p and increase resolution only after the composition and motion are working. The generate button recalculates the credit total whenever you change the model, duration, quality, audio, or reference inputs.

What “free” means on Seedance Free
A new account receives registration credits that can be used toward a first generation. Seedance 2.0 is not advertised as unlimited: the exact required credits appear before submission, and paid credit packs or plans are optional when you need more.
Credits are reserved while a generation is running and settled only after success. If the task fails, the reservation is released instead of being charged as a completed video.
