This Cookie Policy explains how SeedanceFree uses cookies and similar browser storage. It also explains when an external service may set its own cookies.
A cookie is a small value stored by your browser and sent with later requests to the relevant domain. Some SeedanceFree features cannot work safely without essential cookies.
Better Auth sets essential cookies to keep you signed in, validate your session, and protect authentication requests. The production session configuration normally expires a session after seven days and may refresh its expiry while the account remains active. Authentication cookies may be HTTP-only, signed, and secure in production, and their exact names can vary by deployment.
Google sign-in also uses a short-lived OAuth state cookie while the browser is redirected to Google and back. It helps verify that the callback belongs to the sign-in request you started.
NEXT_LOCALE remembers whether you selected English or Chinese so later page requests use the same language.
When Cloudflare Turnstile protection is enabled and you complete a challenge, SeedanceFree sets seedance_turnstile_pass. It is an HTTP-only, same-site cookie tied to your account that avoids repeating the challenge for 24 hours. It is marked secure in production.
sidebar_state remembers whether the account-settings sidebar is open or collapsed. It is set only when that control is used and lasts for seven days.
Google may use cookies on Google's domains during sign-in. The active hosted payment provider (Stripe, Creem, or Waffo) may use cookies on its checkout or customer-portal pages. Cloudflare Turnstile may use browser data needed to perform anti-abuse verification. Those cookies are controlled by the relevant provider and covered by its privacy and cookie notices.
SeedanceFree's code also supports optional production analytics and affiliate integrations. They load only when the relevant deployment configuration enables them and may set their own measurement or referral cookies. The current core generation flow does not require advertising or social-sharing cookies.
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking optional third-party measurement cookies should not prevent the core site from loading. Blocking essential authentication, OAuth state, language-routing, or anti-abuse cookies may sign you out, break Google sign-in, reset preferences, or prevent a protected generation request from completing.
Deleting a cookie does not delete the account or server-side records associated with it. To delete your account, use account settings; for a data request, see the Privacy Policy.
We may update this policy when cookie names, product features, or providers change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
